Listen instead
Hello there. As I was travelling by bus from Johannesburg to Cape Town last year, I got to thinking. Firstly I realized that we have a city here that works; it’s moving.
And people who lived at some point in the past built this.
Someone had to do the work that we enjoy today; someone had to plant those trees.
I also had to be in awe of the structures that allow it to function as it is.
Then it had me thinking: what if we do not have a choice in this world, and what if we have to build something that solves a key issue of society? What would happen if we all volunteered to service and left it at that?
